Captain Ron's and Sharkey's Caribbean Shack has been sold. The 'Bucket' as many of us called it, was owned by two local expats, one of which we would normally find sitting at the sidewalk bar ready to greet us with a smile, a joke, and the coldest beer in town. Over the years, the Beer Bucket became an institution in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for locals, expats and tourists. This site is a tribute to Ron and Sharkey and the Beer Bucket that will continue to fill our memories and story telling. It's simply an archive of photos and videos submitted by friends of Captain Ron and Sharkey.
Through the help of many contributors, we have accumulated nearly two hundred and fifty photos and some video clips for your enjoyment.
